Thanks for your comment Shannon! I tend to agree about how Jesus would spend his time. In fact, the Scriptures tell us that he was accused of being a drunkard and a glutton as he always seemed to be wining and dining with people that religious folk despised.

i havent listened to the audio but the topic intrigues me. i am in favor of responsible drinking and find that churches that "ban" drinking whether intentionally or not from the pulpit really discriminate against the majority of normal, everyday "sinners" that i might want to bring to a church to learn about God. i lived in colorado and loved my jewish born christian pastor that had no problem getting a beer with friends after his talk on sunday morning. Super-relatable! and i think that if jesus were walking through boulder county, he would sit down and drink a beer with us too!
